Black Flower Child was created in October 2005 in Paris.

The line up is Shemss at vocal, J’s at guitar, Lau at piano, Dyne at bass and R at drums.

The band name is inspired by a haiku of Issa.

Union of punk, metal and dark pop, Black Flower Child has an original style where both occidental and Japanese influences are present. The quintet evolves in a dark and tormented universe and allows a main importance to an androgynous and glam look.

The lyrics, mixing English and Japanese and stamped with dark romantism show contrast with the music of band witch can be as violent as feeling, pain or insanity can be.

The first EP Laboratory Incomplete Experiment will be release in September 2006. The band is also participating to the nanimoto’s compilation Sakurabana.

History :

J’s began in Black Tears in 1998. This band was one of the pioneers of the French visual kei copy band. After that he played in various bands influenced by visual kei.

Dyne and R began in Atzyluth in January 2000. First copy band, they start composing their own songs. But the band broke up after the departure of Dyne in April 2002. Dyne and R decide to keep playing together.

Shemss started singing with the copy band Ab’sainte in 2000. After a lot of shows, he decides to leave the band in 2001.

Dyne phones to J’s in May 2002. The band Kaïro was born. They did 2 demo CD and a lot of concerts in Paris. Their singer leaves so the band broke up in September 2005.

The 3 guys decide to keep playing together in a new formation.
In October 2005, Dyne contacts Shemss that he knows from the Ab’ sainte period and Lau for whom it is the first band.
